Sign-Up & Profile Setup Guide

1 Create Your Account

Choose one of two sign-up options:

đŸ”ĩ Option A: Sign Up with Google

Click the "Sign Up with Google" button and select your Google account.

✓ Fastest option - Email verification is automatic!

📧 Option B: Sign Up with Email

Fill out the registration form with:

  • Full Name: Use your real name to help match your player profile
  • Email: A valid email address
  • Password: At least 6 characters
💡 Tip
Use your full name (first and last) when signing up. This helps the system automatically match you to your player profile if you're already in the league database.
2 Verify Your Email (Email Sign-Up Only)

If you signed up with email/password, you'll need to verify your email:

🔍 Check Spam Folder

Important: The verification email is often caught by spam filters. Check your spam/junk folder!

✅ Click the Verification Link

Click the link in the email, then return to the site and click "I've Verified My Email"

Google sign-in users skip this step - your email is automatically verified!
3 Link Your Player Account. IMPORTANT TO COMPLETE

Connect your login account to your player profile in the league database:

🔎 Find Your Player Profile

Browse through teams or use the search box to find your name. If the system found a good match based on your name, it will show a "Suggested" badge.

👆 Select Your Profile

Click on your player profile to select it, then click "Submit Link Request"

âŗ Wait for Approval

High Name Match (90%+): Automatically approved immediately

Good Match (60-89%): Requires team captain approval

Low Match (<60%): Requires league staff approval

ℹī¸ Not a Player?
You can skip this step if you're a fan or family member. Click "Skip - I'm Not a Player" to access the site as a fan.
4 Complete Your Profile

Once you're logged in, visit your profile page to customize your experience:

📋 Player Information

Add details about yourself that will be displayed on your player page:

Nickname
How you prefer to be called on the field
Jersey Number(s)
Your jersey numbers across different teams or seasons
Batting Side & Throwing Arm
Right/Left/Switch hitter and throwing arm preference
Primary & Secondary Positions
The positions you play most often
🔔 Push Notifications

Enable notifications to stay updated (all toggleable):

Game Reminders
Get notified 1 hour before your games start
RSVP Reminders
Daily reminders if you haven't RSVP'd for upcoming games
Schedule Changes
Time, date, or opponent changes for your games
Lineup Changes
Updates to batting order and fielding positions
League Announcements
Important league-wide updates from administrators
Score Updates
Final scores when games finish
Quiet Hours
Pause notifications during specified times (default: 10pm-8am)
📇 Aces Directory

The Aces Directory is a member directory that allows you to connect with other Aces and utilize their skills and services when necessary. You can opt-in to share your contact information with other verified members.

Toggle this checkbox to make your profile visible to other authenticated members
Phone Number
Your preferred contact number (visible to authenticated members)
Occupation / Job Title
Your profession or job title (optional)
Additional Skills / Interests
Share your skills or interests with other members (e.g., Photography, Carpentry, Web Design, Event Planning) - optional, max 200 characters

When you opt-in to the directory, your information becomes visible to other authenticated league members. This helps the Aces community connect and support each other's skills and services. You can opt-out at any time by unchecking the directory option in your profile preferences.
